You care about climate. You've taken steps to learn; maybe through a course, a workshop, or just diving into resources on your own. But turning that knowledge into influence inside your company? That’s the hard part.

Many employees begin learning about climate but are left wondering what to do with that knowledge. Some take small, practical steps within their role. Others go on to influence broader decisions, like company policy or procurement. Along the way, they begin to recognise that power doesn’t always come from a job title; it comes from relationships, credibility, persistence, and the ability to ask the right questions at the right time.

This 40-minute webinar, hosted by WorkforClimate and Hurd, is for employees who want to do more, but aren’t sure where to begin. You'll hear from people who’ve applied their climate learning in all kinds of ways – from small but strategic entry points like cleaning up website code, to bigger internal shifts like advocating for a shift to 100% renewable energy and moving employee retirement funds to more sustainable funds.

Whether you're just starting to explore your influence or already trying to shift systems, this conversation will offer insights, encouragement, and a sense that you don’t have to wait for permission to lead on climate: you just need the right support and mindset.

What you’ll gain:
  • A clearer understanding of why learning alone rarely leads to change
  • Insight into the wide spectrum of ways employees can apply climate learning: from entry points to systemic levers
  • Stories from employees outside sustainability roles who’ve made meaningful impact
  • Practical tools, tactics, and next steps to help you act from wherever you sit in the organisation
